Marilyn Abate

Ms. Abate joined Rosen & Associates Limited in 2000, bringing
with her particular expertise in owner-managed enterprise taxation
and business advisory services. Prior to joining the firm, she was
employed in the Enterprise Audit & Tax and Business Advisory Services
division of a large multinational accounting firm. Ms. Abate was also
a part-time instructor in both the undergraduate and graduate business
administration programs at the Schulich School of Business at York
University.
At Rosen & Associates Limited, Ms. Abate has acted on a variety
of matters including accountants’ professional negligence, damages
quantification, fraud investigations and special government assignments.
Ms. Abate has provided expert testimony for the Ontario Superior Court
of Justice and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Ms. Abate is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant,
Chartered Business Valuator, Certified Fraud Examiner and a qualified
tax specialist.
