Mark Rosen


Mr. Rosen has been with the firm for over a decade and specializes in financial statement analysis, business valuation and accounting issues. He has focused particular interest on the widespread impacts of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) on investors and creditors. Mr. Rosen is also the co-founder of Accountability Research Corporation, an independent, institution-focused firm, dedicated to providing high-quality, forensic accounting research.

Mr. Rosen received his honours BA degree from the University of Western Ontario and his MBA degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He also has his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Mr. Rosen has authored, co-authored and contributed to hundreds of articles on financial reporting, earnings quality, accounting issues and corporate governance.

In the past, Mr. Rosen has also been the chairman of Investorside Research Association Canada, an industry group dedicated to eliminating conflicts of interest in research. He was also the publisher of Boardroom for many years, a corporate governance publication for officers and directors.
